Wasp.Aero provides heavy-lift drones and UAS.
Our systems are coaxial drones that comprise a multiplicity of motor and propellors, which are coaxial or substantially coaxial, with a weight-shift mechanism utilized for controlling rotation about its center of gravity
In one embodiment the motors are of hollow-shaft type, allowing power and signals to pass through the center of the motors and rotors.
In one embodiment the motors may rotate in opposite directions to allow control of yaw of the system.
The center of gravity of the device is actuated to move the system's center of gravity such as to utilise the propellors thrust vector to produce a torque about the center of gravity.
In one embodiment a mass is connected to the rotors by 2 pivot axes which allow for motion of the center of gravity in 2 directions with respect to the thrust vector.
In another embodiment a mass is connected to the rotors by a ball joint.
In another embodiment a mass is connected to the rotors by a sliding joint.
In another embodiment a multiplicity of masses is connected to the rotors.
